Spark Cleantech is a fast-growing and innovative start-up developing a breakthrough process that replaces the combustion of hydrocarbons in high-temperature industrial furnaces and in materials production with an alternative that is not only fully decarbonised, but also economically competitive and requires only minimal adaptation to existing industrial processes.

Following the successful deployment of an industrial pilot on a client site in 2024 and a major funding round in 2025, we are now building our first industrial standard.

Our ambition is bold: to address, by 2027, sectors that represent 10% of the global CO2 emissions on a multi hundred Bn€ market.

🎯 Your Role

As part of the Operations department, reporting to the COO with a functional reporting line to the Product & Technology Director, your main mission will be to structure and lead the project management department. You will define and deploy the project management referential and skills and will be responsible for the "Deliver Projects" process of Spark Cleantech

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring that teams are appropriately staffed and organized to achieve project objectives, consistent with business plan assumptions, while supporting team development and skills acquisition.

• Ensuring that the key company rules are properly formalized and applied and that the company’s quality commitments are upheld throughout project execution.

• Organizing, capitalizing on, and deploying lessons learned across projects, including the integration of feedback related to the Product Safety policy.

• Leading the delivery of the industrial project, with a strong focus on interfaces with technology development activities.

• Conducting regular visits to fabrication workshops and construction sites.

🧠 Your Profile

• MSc in Mechanical Engineering or Process Engineering

• 10 to 15 years of experience in project management within European industrial environments

• Fluent in English

• Strong expertise in project controls

• Proven experience in engineering management, construction management and commissioning management

• Strong negotiation skills, with hands-on experience in subcontracting

• Ability to translate strategic objectives into action plans

• Strong decision-making capability

• Recognized leadership and people management skills

• High level of rigor, with a strong results-driven and customer-oriented mindset

• Safety leader with excellent communication skills (oral and written)
